James Tarkington is a Senior Associate at GQR. James provides strategic advice to issue and advocacy organizations, political campaigns, and corporate clients. James, a U.S. Navy veteran, brings a wide variety of professional and political experience to GQR having worked on numerous candidate and issue campaigns, in a congressional office on the Hill, and most recently, as a pollster and strategist at EMC Research.
James holds a B.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University, and a M.P.S. from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University.
In his spare time, James can be found spending time with his dogs, playing video games, watching basketball, or jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.
