Voters support EPA setting stricter air pollution standards to protect public health
An overwhelming majority of voters supports the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) setting stricter standards on gasoline and tighter emissions standards for cars, SUVs and trucks according to the American Lung Association’s latest survey.
A new survey of mothers of newborn children (under 12 months) shows mothers want support for their infant feeding choices. These mothers know breast feeding is the healthiest option, but want to be fully informed about feeding choices. Yet many report being denied basic information about infant formula. These mothers overwhelming oppose hospital or government policies that restrict information or access to discharge bags.
With both primaries still open, Greenberg Quinlan Rosner and Public Opinion Strategies conducted the latest in our series of bipartisan polls for National Public Radio in the midst of the Florida primaries and less than a week before super Tuesday. The survey of 1,000 likely voters fielded January 29-31 and has a margin of error of +/-3.2 percent.
This bi-partisan survey conducted for The California Endowment by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner and Public Opinion Strategies finds overwhelming demand for health care reform in California and support for universal children's health care coverage. Voters of all partisan and ideological persuasions - as well as voters in all parts of the state - support reform, which must include health coverage for all of California’s children.
