Erica Seifert, Ph.D.
Dr. Erica Seifert is a Senior Associate at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner, specializing in American politics. She primarily conducts research for Democracy Corps, a nonprofit organization founded by Stan Greenberg and James Carville. Her other clients include National Public Radio, The Los Angeles Times, the Center for American Progress, the Campaign for America’s Future, Women's Voices Women Vote Action Fund, and Public Campaign Action Fund.
Seifert is most recently the author of The Politics of Authenticity in Presidential Campaigns (McFarland 2012), a history of recent American political culture. Her work has been published in Politico, The Democratic Strategist, and the Huffington Post. She is co-author, with James Carville and Stan Greenberg, of several articles and position papers on the 2012 election.
Seifert holds Bachelor’s degrees in Government and American Studies and a PhD in History. Prior to joining GQR, she was a Fellow in American History at the University of New Hampshire.
